Haha, it has been almost a year since I last updated this front page. I could say that there hasn't been much going on, but it would be lying, since the last year was really really hectic! In good and bad, lots of travel to different places. Well that you could have noticed yourself too from the increasing number of photos from around Europe. Hopefully the trend continues this year too.
On other news, I was hanging around (read: drinking) at Battlelore's mini-tour in Finland while they supported Bal-Sagoth. I filmed the concerts and edited the stuff together and they uploaded few songs to Youtube:

Hey there, today is my birthday and since I'm already quarter of a century old, my gift to you is releasing the Finnish Metal Expo pictures from this year.

Long time no see! A lot has happaned during the past few months. First of all I got my camera fixed at end of December finally, and because there was somekind of product varranty I didn't even have pay for it, which was nice. I still have some film pics waiting to be scanned. The times have been good and bad, usually both at the same time, but let's continue this story somewhere else, heh. Last weekend I was at Jalometalli Winterfest in Oulu. A nice escape from normal daily sycle, even though I slept 3,5 hours during the whole damn weekend.
So here's a small picture from Club Teatria, and by clicking it you can see the band pics, sorry Tommy I, promised to put this online, Henu :D

Shit! My camera got broken saturday evening while shooting a concert in Espoo. Now I have to use my old film camera that I still have and maybe my Powershot G5... But most likely there wont be too much upcoming pics in the near future, except those pics from few events that I still haven't published. I hope the price of the repair is reasonable... Somehow I doubt it.

Back from Middle Europe!
I was at Wacken Open Air and Party San festivals in Germany and now I can offer you the Wacken ones! So pictures from Wacken 2006 contain the following bands:

Few milestones.
First of all the gallery now holds pictures from over 500 different bands! And as for a second, a slight improvement, now the band listing is done by alphabets! Again a big thanks to Mikael for the database work!
Next milestone will be the number of the pics, but lets see it after couple of weeks when I come back from Wacken.

I started my finnish festival summer last weekend from Myrskylä. Well, maybe not the biggest festival since it was one day indoor event called Kevätjuhla, but still! Pictures from the following bands are now online: Stam1na, Before the Dawn, Misery Inc., myGRAIN, Rust, Kill the Romance and Rajavyöhyke.

Car found, and in a pretty good condition though. The thief(s) didn't even want my Gamma Ray, Lab˙rinth etc albums that were in the car during the whole time. This was nice. Although I started to put some other things in motion, but I'll see what happens in the near future. Interesting times indeed.
I have also made few nice partnerships, more on these later when things start to roll.

My car got stolen last night between 03 and 15. I hope that person crashed into the woods and died.
This also means that I wont be able to attend to some events I would have liked, since I now need to find a new car in order to be able to go to work. And I need to work bit more if possible. Let's see what happens.

A new forum!
As the old cesspool forum went down, I decided to start a forum of my own. At there you can talk about past and upcoming gigs or just chit and chat some random things which may or may not interest anyone. But for everyone's sake, let's hope it's not total nonsense :D
You can find a link to the forum at the menu left. Or simply just click here. The layout of the forum isn't just yet made to fit to the general look of this site.

Also through the forum you can now test the upcoming database controlled gallery, links are at the "Keikat" section and on topics that say "[kuvia]" at the end.

I have taken some promotional shots that have or haven not ended up in some other publications like cd booklets for example. Also some of my live shots have been also used in cd booklets, magazines and so on. Now I have started a references page for them. There are only a few sections now, but I'll try to dig out more material the coming days. If interested, keep checking.

Is it five years already? Seems so, from the moment I started to keep my homepage in this form and hosting live metal pictures that I have taken.
So now this site is presented with a new layout (thanx to Risto) and a little adjusting to the gallery script by Mikael
Also a new is given "Metalscope" just something that came into my mind after "Valley of the Kings" and when I have already visited the real Valley of the Kings, the name came a bit futile.
Metal up your ass, or something.
